You are all invited to the next big event in the metaverse: The Sandbox Alpha Season 3.

Save the date, the first experiments will be launched on August 24, 2022.

As always, the Alpha Season is open to everyone, free of charge.

All you need is a The Sandbox account to:

• Access over 90 experiences
• Progress and level up
• Complete quests to collect points
• Participate in the draw and ranking for a chance to: win an Alpha Pass and earn SAND rewards (the crypto-currency of The Sandbox metaverse)

This third season offers us the opportunity to play over 90 experiences!

27 experiences from brand partners such as Snoop Dogg, The Walking Dead, Deadmau5, Sueco, Warner Music Group, Ubisoft’s Rabbids, BAYC, World of Women, The Smurfs, Steve Aoki, Metapride, Care Bears and Atari.

There will also be 17 experiences from The Sandbox, 20 experiences supported by The Sandbox Game Maker Fund.

In addition, there will be 12 user-generated content (UGC) experiences from independent creators and 16 Game Jams experiences.

This season, interoperability takes a new twist. Team The Sandbox has successfully voxelized avatars from 13 renowned NFT collections that will be playable in The Sandbox Alpha Season 3.

With over 140,000 playable avatars, it will be a breeze to play in a Rabbids experience with a Cyberkongz avatar, explore the world of The Walking Dead using your Bored Ape Yacht Club avatar, or party at Club XYZ with our new resident DJ Steve Aoki as Doggy, CoolCat, CloneX, World of Women (Galaxy), Moonbird, and many more!

This season, discover a new system that will ensure you are rewarded for supporting our project.

At the end of a level, LAND owners, avatar owners, or any other NFT assets will unlock SAND rewards, even without an Alpha Pass!

Get ready for an exciting feature. In Season 3, 1.5 million SAND will be awarded to the top players in the ranking.

Ranking is based on the total number of Ethos Points (EPs) earned per user – users earn EPs for completing quests – and completion time! The harder a quest is, the more Ethos Points you earn, the faster you are, the better your ranking!

All quests are replayable, so you can improve your score infinitely. The first 5,000 ranked users will receive SAND rewards.

The player who ranks first at the end of the season receives 30,000 SAND! Do you have what it takes to be number 1?

Note that the ranking rewards can be claimed at the end of the season and you will need to check your account to claim them.

To ensure fairness among users and safety for all in Alpha Season 3, The Sandbox is implementing a KYC (Know Your Customer) system.

This will help us prevent multi-accounts, cheating mechanisms, and bad players from entering contests and hindering the fun of The Sandbox Alpha.

You will still be able to play The Sandbox Alpha Season 3 without having your account verified, but your account will need to be KYCed to enter future drawings or to be eligible for an Alpha Pass.

Remember, only one account per player!

Do not use a VPN set for Japan when playing The Sandbox Alpha Season 3. Due to national regulations, you won’t be eligible for the same rewards and won’t have access to the leaderboard.
