We had the unique opportunity to participate in BELONGING WEEK 3, a major event in The Sandbox metaverse, dedicated to LGBTQ+ communities. Our famous experience, Love in Paris, has been specially redesigned for the occasion and renamed: Proud to Love in Paris.

For this special event, we have redesigned our iconic experience, Love in Paris, to better reflect the inclusive and festive spirit of BELONGING WEEK 3.

This new version, Proud to Love in Paris, offers players complete immersion in a virtual Paris where love and acceptance are at the heart of the adventure.

THE SANDBOX metaverse stands out as a safe and inclusive environment, allowing LGBTQ+ communities to connect and support each other across the world.

BELONGING WEEK 3 ran from June 17 to July 1, 2024, offering players the opportunity to participate in a Play to Earn event.

A shared pool of 15,000 SAND was put into play, distributed among players who successfully completed the event’s quest objectives. Additionally, an additional 15,000 SAND will be donated to an organization supporting LGBTQ+ values ​​and rights.

This initiative aims not only to reward players, but also to actively support the LGBTQ+ cause.

On the technical side, the game was deployed on the latest version of Game Maker 0.10, ensuring a smooth and immersive experience for all participants.

The updates and improvements made to this version have enriched the gaming experience, offering improved graphics, better gameplay and new features that captivated players throughout the event as well as a few surprises :)

Participating in BELONGING WEEK 3 in The Sandbox metaverse with our Proud to Love in Paris experience was an enriching and inspiring adventure. This event celebrated love, diversity and inclusion, while providing a platform of support and connection for LGBTQ+ communities around the world.
